Receiving Peace in Times of Adversity

I am a beloved son of God, and He has a work for me to do.

With all my heart, might, mind, and strength, I will love God, keep my covenants, and use His priesthood to serve others, beginning in my own home.

As I strive to serve, exercise faith, repent, and improve each day, I will qualify to receive temple blessings and the enduring joy of the gospel.

Priority Scheduling for 2021 Recreation Camp Reservations

Reservations for use of church recreation camps in 2021 will open at 8:00 a.m., mountain daylight time, on May 1, 2020, for stake Young Women presidencies to make reservations at their assigned camps. Reservations for stake Young Men and other ward and branch organizations will then follow the approved priority scheduling as posted on the Recreational Property Reservations website.

For information about the updated schedule and priority dates for reserving camp use in 2021, please visit the website at https://camping.ChurchofJesusChrist.org. The site can also be accessed by logging into the Church website, going to My Account and Ward, and selecting Recreation Camps under Tools and Support.

The priority schedule is being used to ensure that camps are reserved fairly for Young Women and Other Church organizations. Reservations for camps can only be made by persons in the related callings in their unit.

Some Youth in the Stake are planning a combined activity to play Family Feud. To this end there are ~30 questions with the hopes of obtaining local survey results.

We invite you, your family, and friends to participate by taking the survey now.

Terms like "happiness" and "pleasure" can have various definitions and applications, and often depend on context. But Elder Talmage makes a clear and definite distinction between the concept of a deep, true, lasting happiness and the superficial, fleeting pleasure.
